John Clothier, M.D.
Dr. Clothier has been with the center over 5 years. He holds an MD
from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed his residency
at UCLA in Family Medicine in 1996. In addition to being published and honored by
awards, he has special interests in naturopathic and sports medicine,
which his patients truly appreciate. Dr. Clothier feels strongly that,
"Physical activity and eating smart are fundamental building blocks
for healthy individuals. The body has an incredible ability to
restore and heal itself". He also feels that when the opportunity exists,
the best medical care is provided when a physician sees the entire family;
the premise of Family Practice Medicine.
Vanessa Oppenlander, M.D.
Dr. Oppenlander has been with the Center since 2002. She holds her Doctorate
in Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Texas. She was also Chief
Resident in Family Practice at Mercy Merced Medical Center in Merced,
CA in 2001. Her special interests are nutrition and sports medicine. Her
philosophy on Family Practice is "I like to treat all ages while
being a contributing member of our local Community." She, her husband
and two young boys live here in Half Moon Bay.
Ben Boblett, M.D.
Dr. Boblett brings over six years of experience
in clinical practice providing pediatric and adult care. After receiving
his medical degree from the University of California-Davis in 1998 and

WA, in 2002. Dr. Boblett is a diplomat of the American Board of Family
Practice and a member of the American Academy of Family Practice. He believes
that good health involves a partnership between the patient and his or
her doctor. By working with his patients and understanding their needs
within the context of their family and community, he can help treat acute
and chronic problems as well as provide preventative care. Dr. Boblett
lives in Half Moon Bay and practices at both the Half Moon Bay and Pescadero locations.
